Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid -Blended

Service Description
This American Heart Association-certified Heartsaver course is designed for individuals who want to be prepared to respond during emergencies at work, home, or in the community. Participants will learn high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to provide basic first aid for choking, bleeding, sudden illness, and other common emergencies. The blended learning format allows students to first complete the AHA online Heartsaver eLearning course (purchased separately via the AHA link provided by Heartbeat CPR & First Aid), followed by an in-person skills check with a certified instructor to demonstrate the hands-on skills needed for certification. Notes Students must purchase the AHA Heartsaver online course separately using the link provided by Heartbeat CPR & First Aid. The fee paid to Heartbeat CPR & First Aid covers the in-person skills check and issuance of the AHA Heartsaver e-card upon successful completion. Students must complete the online portion prior to scheduling their hands-on skills session. Students should bring proof of completion (certificate or confirmation) to the in-person session. Cancellation Policy
All course payments are non-refundable. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and are happy to accommodate rescheduling within the following guidelines: Rescheduling 48 Hours or More in Advance You may reschedule at no additional cost by contacting your instructor at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled class. A list of alternative dates for the exact course you registered for will be provided, with options available for up to 3 months from your original class date. Rescheduling Within 24–48 Hours of Class Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before your class will incur a $25 rescheduling fee. You will still be given alternate dates to reschedule the same course within a 3-month window. Rescheduling Within 24 Hours of Class Rescheduling within 24 hours or less of your scheduled class will result in a $35 rescheduling fee. You will still be given alternate dates to reschedule the same course within a 3-month window. 🚫 No-Shows Without Communication Failure to attend your scheduled class without prior communication will result in a forfeiture of the course and all associated fees. Special Exceptions All exceptions to this policy will be considered at the sole discretion of Heartbeat CPR & First Aid LLC.
