Terms & Conditions

By registering for a class with Heartbeat CPR & First Aid, participants agree to the following:

1. Course Registration & Payment

  • All course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.

  • Payments are non-refundable.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Classes may be rescheduled at no additional charge if requested 48 hours or more in advance.

  • Rescheduling requests made 24–48 hours prior to class incur a $25 fee.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of class incur a $35 fee.

  • Rescheduled courses must be completed within 3 months of the original date.

  • Failure to attend without communication (“no-show”) will result in forfeiture of the course fee.

  • Exceptions may be considered at the sole discretion of Heartbeat CPR & First Aid.

3. Certification

  • Successful completion of the course and required skills testing is necessary to receive an American Heart Association course completion card and/or certificate of participation.

4. Accessibility & Accommodations​

  • Adaptive training or advisory roles may be offered where permitted by the American Heart Association.

  • Participants are encouraged to contact us prior to registration to discuss accommodations.

5. Materials & Equipment

  • Course books, face masks, and training utensils are provided for use during class.

  • All borrowed materials must be returned at the end of the session.

  • If you prefer to have your own permanent book and study in advance to prepare. You can purchase online at the AHA website: https://www.heart.org/  

6. Liability

  • Participants acknowledge that CPR and First Aid training involves physical activity and agree to participate at their own risk.

  • Heartbeat CPR & First Aid is not liable for injuries sustained during training except where required by law.
